Getting started

Use an AWH protocol template (contact the Research Office, research@awh.org.au, for a copy) to get started designing your project.

Make sure you consider the AWH statement on Inclusion of minority groups in research

Ethics application development

Visit the Victorian Government Clinical Trials and Research website for guidance documents and training videos for ERM.

Participant Information and Consent Forms (PICFs) templates can be found here:

It's important to get PICFs right. Refer to the guidance below to get started.

Privacy in Human Research is now available on SEEDS under Research within the AWH Course Catalogue section.

Research data resources

Contact the AWH Health Information department for advice on access to AWH data for research and check out AWH policy relating to research data in the Information Management and ICT Policy Handbook.

You may need to complete approval forms to run reports and gain access to AWH data.
